Projection Pursuit Analysis (PPA)
Projection Pursuit Analysis (PPA) is a real time detection algorithm that can detect the onset of statistical anomalies and identify the critical parameters in the system with some probability. The algorithm was validated on both simulated and experimental data and performed with high accuracy and computational efficiency. PPA is based on a principal component analysis (PCA), singular value decomposition (SVD) and a least squares analysis (LS).
