Andy Hess Joins CALCE PHM Team

Andy Hess is world renowned for his work in fixed and rotary wing health monitoring and is recognized as the father of Naval Aviation propulsion diagnostics. Andy Hess has been a strong advocate of prognostic capabilities and has been involved in many efforts advancing the development of these predictive capabilities for many aircraft systems and their subsystem component elements.  Mr. Hess managed the development and integration of the Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) system for the Joint Strike Fighter program from his position as Air System PHM IPT Lead. At CALCE, Andy will be a key contributor to the PHM research and its implementations for avionics and other mission critical applications.
